We LOVE our volunteers! It’s no exaggeration to say that the Nature Made Great Race wouldn’t be possible without the 350 enthusiastic individuals who generously give their time to support over 5,000 participants. This year, as we celebrate the race’s 40th anniversary from April 2nd to April 5th, we need YOU to help make it the most unforgettable event yet! ????
Volunteering for the Great Race is more than just lending a hand – it’s about being part of something incredible. You’ll meet amazing people, soak in the electrifying race-day energy, and contribute to a cause that benefits schools in Agoura Hills and Oak Park. Whether you’re signing up as an individual, bringing along a friend, or volunteering as a group, there’s a spot for everyone (ages 14 and up, or younger with an adult!).
Tons of Volunteer Roles to Suit YOU!
From welcoming racers at check-in, guiding them along the course, to handing out those coveted finish line medals – there’s a variety of roles where you can shine. Help manage aid stations, ensure the course runs smoothly, or join the post-race fun! If you’re a teen, you’ll even earn community service credit – talk about a win-win!
Perks of Volunteering
Besides the feel-good vibes of giving back, all volunteers receive an official Great Race shirt to commemorate this milestone event. Whether you rock it at the gym, on a run, or while lounging at home, it’s the perfect keepsake for your efforts. Plus, you’ll get to experience race-day energy up close – an adrenaline rush of its own.
